Bold As Brass

Occupying central stage in this home, this galley kitchen needed to make a good impression with a directive from the owners to ‘be bold and bring the bling’.

A love of brass directed the aesthetic, so the design incorporates brass features in perfect measure.

Brass features include a stunning negative detail under the bench, an under-mounted double sink, and mosaic tiled splashback – which adds a mesmerising texture.

Selecting flat-panel cabinets in a dark blue hue with concrete-look stone benchtops has created a beautiful stage for the brass to sing from.

The contemporary geometric handles finish this look off nicely (they also feature in the master wardrobe).

This glamorous front-of-house zone is supported by an extensive butler’s pantry in behind it that can be hidden from view when entertaining.
