Mosgiel Kitchens has been part of the local community for more than 30 years, proudly providing quality joinery to homes across the region. Recently, Brad and Janet took over the business, continuing its strong reputation for craftsmanship and service.
Brad knows Mosgiel Kitchens inside and out, having worked with the company for 25 years. His passion for joinery, combined with decades of hands-on experience, means every project is built with care, precision, and pride. Together with Janet, they are committed to keeping Mosgiel Kitchens a trusted local name – delivering beautiful kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, and custom joinery that truly transform homes.
At Mosgiel Kitchens, it’s not just about building joinery – it’s about creating spaces for families to enjoy for years to come.
It was the early 90’s, and I would watch on, fascinated, as my husband designed kitchens on A3 sheets for his own kitchen-manufacturing business. I jumped on board and have loved every minute of it since! Although the designs have evolved from hand-drawn to digital using CAD software, seeing the end result is always a real thrill. It’s a lot of fun designing for large new builds or whole house-lots. We design more than kitchens too, such as wardrobes, office nooks, window seats, laundry's and vanity units – there’s so much to get your teeth stuck into.
I completed my product design degree at Otago Polytechnic in 2020 and now working for Mastercraft Kitchens in Dunedin, Mosgiel as a kitchen designer. My first career step where you constantly learning and gaining new skills. My passions come from wanting to use my creativity and thoughts to help people in everyday life as I grew up with my brother who has cerebral palsy; having the background of empathy allows me to create amazing and unique designs for all life style needs.
