Who are we?

Mastercraft Kitchens Hawkes Bay (Sunshine Joinery) is a local business passionate about providing a high-quality product with high-quality service. The business was established in 2005 by owner operators Rick & Felicity Martin. Rick started his career as an apprentice builder in Palmerston North before making the move into joinery. After travelling to Europe for three years and working on shop fit outs, boat building, kitchen manufacturing and installation he returned to New Zealand, moved to Hawkes Bay and established his own joinery business based in Onekawa. Over the following years the workshop has relocated to Ahuriri and Rick has been joined by his wife and a dedicated team of joiners all passionate about providing their clients with the exceptional service and quality joinery they deserve.

We provide a full design and custom build service for residential and commercial clients. Mastercraft Kitchens Hawkes Bay services the following areas: Napier, Hastings, Taradale, Havelock North, Bayview, Eskdale, Waipawa, Waipukurau, Central Hawkes Bay and the wider Hawkes Bay area. We specialise in kitchens but also manufacture sculleries, laundries, wardrobes, vanities, bookcases and custom-built joinery We are also experts in commercial fit-outs for restaurants, bars, dental surgeries and retail stores.
