"In 2023 we began designing and creating a luxury retirement home.  Our amazing Signature Homes build came with a modern fully equipped kitchen designed, built and installed by Mastercraft Kitchens Tauranga.

Right from the start, our designer Jes Gordon clearly understood our desire for a spacious area to prepare and serve great food – allowing us to entertain small and large gatherings.  We also wanting a kitchen with generous effective storage zones for private and off-site catering.

In conjunction with our interior designer, Jes guided us to choose materials and colours for our surfaces and fittings which captured the look and feel essence of the kitchen and scullery areas in the new home: reflecting our personal culture and preferences.

During the build process, Jes and the team at Mastercraft used our plans and ongoing discussions to create a stunning final result in 2025 that was truly “exceeding above what we had thought or asked for”.  Jes and her team also helped design, build and install a special wooden batten feature “wall” surrounding our staircase and internal lift.  Their installation specialists took care to make sure we were fully satisfied with the completed kitchen and living area.
